Description:

The WebSecurity Active Directory Synchronization Agent (ADSync) allows you to automatically synchronize the information about users and groups stored in your Windows Active Directory with the users database of the WebSecurity service. By default the Synchronization Agent (ADSync) runs every 10 minutes.

This article describes the steps for forcing an immediate synchronization.

Steps:

Ensure that the Active Directory synchronization is enabled:

Use the Task Scheduler to force synchronization:
  1. Login to a Member Server in the domain.
  2. Click the Start button.
  3. Open the Control Panel.
  4. Navigate to System and Maintenance -> Administrative Tools -> Task Scheduler.
  5. Right click on CyrenAdSync scheduler and click on Run.

  6. Check the task Status to verify that the synchronization has been completed.
