Scan report showing damaged files

Question
  Why do some files show as damaged in the scan report?
 Answer
  This occurs when the scan engine is unable to scan certain files on the hard drive. Examples are encrypted files, files that the user does not have permissions to, files that are currently in use, password protected files, etc...

These "errors" are normal and no reason for further action on your part. However, we do recommend having the real-time AMP protection enabled to prevent possible infection from these files when opened.
