Why is Command Anti-Malware stuck on detecting status?

Command Anti-Malware will stay on detecting status if its services are not started correctly. Please follow the instructions below to make sure the services are started automatically:

Step 1. Click on the Start button, go to Run and type services.msc. The services window will open. The services needed for Command Anti-Malware are CSAM5 Reporting Servicevseamps, and vsedsps. Make sure that they are set to start automatically and that they are started (you may need to click "Restart the service").

Step 2. If they are not started, right-click on the service and click Start.

Step 3. If they are not set to start automatically, right-click on it and go to Properties and select the startup type to Automatic.
