Access Denied Error under Reports.

Some files that are loaded by Windows will be currently used by the system while scanning such as log files, DLL files, driver files and so on. While these files are in use, they will return an Access Denied error because the scan engine simply does not have access to these files. This is normal behavior and should not cause alarm. Additionally, scan will only run with the highest level of user rights with the associated account used to run the scan and why some files may be unavailable.

To reduce access denied errors it is recommended to close all running applications, run a scan as an Administrator, or right-click the suspected file(s) to ensure a virus is not present.
